After a while

Woooppsy... Forgot to put some info to this blog... Wheel, more or less, stage zero has came to an end. The car looks good not only in the dark, suspension was replaced (as shocks where out of order).
After gearbox conversion, rear gear lights where not working. Damn, it took a while to find what's wrong. And had to go even to Kaunas, to get parts to make it work. Well, but now that's fixed as well (BIG THNX XR_as).
So, for now a car is in a garage. Making few modifications. So wait for a really interesting news :)

Moving forward

So, few weeks have passed and what do we have...
Got a little front break upgrade. It's not something big, but I needed to change the existing ones and wanted to keep my R16 wheels, so it seems like a good call to get a set of Nissan Skyline R33 GTS-T breaks. According to google, it should fit my car like stock ones, but how will things go will find out in the future...
Yesterday I have visited service and haven't forgot to take some photos :). Weee. The car is standing for 4th week now (ok, not just 4th week, but very long 4th week :S), but finally, looks like work is going to an end. If to beleave the guy who is working with the car, it will be ready for a weekend. Lets hope for the best.

Lets begin

On Friday bought some basic stuff for a new toys to get a cockpit and leather seats clean and something for an engine.

And after some work all "German tuning" is gone and interior looks quite good :). Next week will get NGK IRIDIUM spark plugs (one degree cooler then stock. Fits great stock engine and will be very useful in the future if engine will be modified). As well need to find who will "FIX" it's body :)

She is here

Here she is, in my hands. Not as perfect as I would like it to be, but that's why I am here :).
Here how she looks (in the dark, to look better).

So, it's about time to begin Stage Zero. It means, that the goal is to make it neat stock (well, maybe we will include some performance parts in the process, but that's not the goal for now).

Biggest problem of this car is it's body. Planning to repaint all car with stock color as it has rust all over it's body and few "injuries" from (as I guess) hail.

As well in the picture you can see something what is left from German tuning. Looks like a guy who had it wanted to have Racing Edition, so he bought not R17 BBS, but sticked some wood trim... Removing is in progress (but that's good, have what to do while cooling turbo, guess after that will start looking for turbo timer :)).

That's all for today, will keep you informed ;)
